This is why I hate NBA referees:

Doc Rivers (Celts coach) was getting stared down by an official, then when he turns to the ref and says "What" he gets tossed. Rivers criticizes the referee, calling him unprofessional, (I think I've seen Rivers criticize a ref to the media maybe 3 times ever) and naturally gets a fine. The referee also, as it turns out, got fined by the league. So by my understanding, the ref was wrong but the league won't admit that he was wrong, they will only say that both Rivers and the ref were wrong. Ridiculous.

To Nathan:

1) Don't be an asshole in your comments, there's no place for it here.
2) I actually realized after posting that you would be the one person who wouldn't have a problem with that email that Pat and my roommate sent to me. It's perhaps even the type of email you might send out, to which I'll say if you are living with someone and have an issue, don't try and teach them a life lesson about how they should handle their affairs. When you write a check to someone you fucking keep enough money in your account to cover the check. You don't tell someone to cash/deposit checks "promptly." Basically, you don't be a douchebag, because that's not cool.

Nathan Moved Out!

Yo I finally got myself a job, and now finally a place to live!!! The address is 1629 Potomac Ave SE Washington DC 20003 (for you google mappers). It is the bright pink house. haha. My room is on the third floor and is super sweet, plus I have my own bathroom. It's a lovely three bedroom place, wood floors, and two fireplaces, and the rent ain't bad. I am leasing it along with a friend of mine who graduated Wes in 2007 - Margaret Dickson - but we met after school. And we get along scarily well. Working on finding a third roommate at the moment. Its not as fun as I expected. The neighborhood is not quite the safest - a pretty nice immediate community though, lesbians next door, à la dc. Less appealing neighborhoods not too far away though. Its very close to the metro, which is lovely. We are still working on fully furnishing the spot, and need a few more pieces of furniture and gotta get up all our beautiful art, but I'm continuously irritated while its still not totally finished, cuz i really don't like living in an incomplete house right now. But anyways, I am very excited to finally officially start my self-sufficient post-college life. Now this summer yall can come visit me for a splendid dc time!

Work is going well. the adjustment hasn't been too bad, but I think once I actually have a firm grasp on everything I do, I will just start feeling bored. Hopefully plenty of things to keep me busy while still challenging this brain of mine.
This is the email that I was talking about getting from Jack about the cable bill, feel free to pass your own judgment:

Subject lines (uber caps! dun dun duN!):

PLEASE READ ASAP VERY IMPORTANT: Cable Bill Check

"I noticed that you still haven't cashed the check I gave you for the cable bill. In the future can you please do so promptly. I have a bunch of automatic transfers and bill payments set up so I don't always have the money in my checking account. I use an ING savings account and it takes a couple of days to transfer money from it so you can see why timing is important. So now I actually need you to wait until Thursday to cash the check so the money is transferred. Like I see please try to cash any future checks shortly after I give them to you. Please email me back to let me know you got this. Thanks - Jack"
