the porn that is in our house
our roomates came home last night after rummaging through the dumpster of a japanese/korean video store that is going out of business with armfuls of korean porn video tapes. hilarious.
um, that i had more to say about that. i tried reading the article nathan posted about teh atheistz, but got bored and frustrated, so fuck that.

Interesting Sunday Articles
Iraqi journalist throws both his shoes at Pres. Bush, as detailed in this post article.
Hilarious. As is Bush's response, but in an intentional way, for once.
But also highly symbolic, if you read - "Throwing a shoe at someone is considered the worst possible insult in Iraq, and is meant to show extreme disrespect and hatred towards someone."
Other interesting stories I read today...
The whole nativity scene/atheist message debate. Quite an interesting ongoing story these days. I like the comments made by the Christian guy near the end of this article. I certainly don't quite side with the atheists on this one. But I'll never be an ally of the religious right.
Also there is this crazy article about corporal punishment in Iran. This guy threw acid on a woman who rejected him, blinding and horribly disfiguring her. Now she has invoked Islamic law to have him equally punished - 5 drops of acid to be dropped in each of his eyes (!). This is problematically interesting in the realm of "exotic", "backwards" cultural exhibitionism. But more so, I thought it was an interesting human interest story. Pictures of this chick are definitely disturbing.
